Analog Stick Drift Analysis
Observe the central dots. Without touching the sticks, they should remain at 0. Any deviation indicates drift.
Circularity Test
Slowly rotate both sticks along their outer bounds to trace a circle.

Common Questions
How to fix controller drift?
Drift is usually caused by dust in the sensor or worn-out potentiometers. Try cleaning with 99% isopropyl alcohol or compressed air. If it's severe, the analog module might need hardware replacement.
Does this work on all browsers?
This tool uses the standard Web Gamepad API. It works best on Chrome, Edge, and Opera. Firefox also supports it, while Safari support varies across macOS and iOS versions.
Why is my polling rate capped?
By default, Windows/Consoles poll at 125-250Hz. To reach 1000Hz (1ms), you often need to 'overclock' your controller drivers using third-party tools like LordOfMice (hidusbf).
Bluetooth vs. Wired latency?
Wired connections are generally more stable, but interestingly, modern DualSense/DualShock 4 controllers often have lower input latency over Bluetooth due to how they process report packets.
What is Hall Effect vs. Potentiometer?
Potentiometers use physical friction which wears out (causing drift). Hall Effect sensors use magnets and have no physical contact, making them theoretically immune to traditional wear-based stick drift.
